Another sad event has happened to Taylor Swift’s fans, as a teenager died while traveling with her family to the singer’s concert in Australia.

While driving from the Gold Coast to Taylor Swift’s concert in Melbourne, a family consisting of 16-year-old Mieka Pokarier, her mother Kim, and her 10-year-old sister Freya, were involved in a collision with a semi-truck, leaving Mieka and Freya with severe injuries and Kim also injured.

Sadly, Mieka did not survive and was pronounced dead, but emergency services personnel arrived on the scene swiftly and provided the sisters with medical attention. Freya was brought to a local hospital in critical condition, and Kim—the driver—was admitted as well; her condition is not known.

The truck driver also got hurt and was brought to the hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. Earlier in November, another Taylor Swift fan named Ana Clara Benevides Machado passed away due to heat exhaustion during the singer’s concert in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Taylor shared a touching message on Instagram to honor Ana and postponed her show scheduled for the next night.
