Students Hang Off Edge Of Building To Hide From Gunman in Mass Shooting
In Prague, a terrifying event occurred when a gunman opened fire inside a university building, forcing students to seek safety on a building ledge. Multiple fatalities were reported from the incident.
The disturbing event took place at Charles University, the biggest and oldest university in the Czech Republic, located in Jan Palach Square. Although the incident’s exact beginning is still unknown, pictures show students clinging to the building in an effort to get out of the gunman’s line of sight.

The gunman approached the students at some point and was seen on the roof with his rifle pointing downward. Czech police reported ten deaths and numerous injuries, as well as the shooter being “eliminated.” The gunman’s identity is still unknown.
The school’s philosophy department was evacuated during the attack, and many people were observed leaving the area. Employees were instructed to lock their offices, put furniture in front of doors, turn off the lights, and stay put in an email.
