Selena Gomez recently extended a heartfelt message to her kidney donor and close friend, Francia Raisa, amid speculations of a feud between them.

Francia, who selflessly donated her kidney to Selena in 2017 due to her battle with Lupus, was rumored to have had a falling out with the singer-actress after Selena mentioned Taylor Swift as her only close friend in Hollywood during her 2022 Apple TV documentary, “My Mind & Me.”

The alleged feud seemed to escalate when Francia stopped following Selena on Instagram and avoided questions from reporters in May. Additionally, Selena’s father, Renán Almendárez Coello, made statements suggesting that the two friends no longer spoke following an argument about drinking.

However, in a recent social media post, Selena seemed to dispel the rumors by celebrating Francia’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute. She shared three pictures of them together, signifying their enduring bond.

“Happiest of birthdays to this special human being. No matter where life takes us, I love you.” she wrote.

The birthday snaps posted by Selena Gomez featured images of the actors together in the back of a convertible car and dressed glamorously at an event, with their arms around each other.

Francia Raisa, the kidney donor and close friend, expressed her approval by liking the tribute, and both Selena and Francia have reestablished their mutual following on social media, indicating a rekindled bond between the two.
