Rich Paul finally responds to rumors he and Adele are married.
Rich Paul, 41, spoke openly about his relationship with Adele on CBS Mornings on October 9th. He described how they’ve mutually supported one other, shedding light on their relationship while discreetly alluding to ongoing speculations of a wedding.
“She’s been great, I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other,” Paul said of Adele, who he has been in a relationship with since 2021. “I’m in a good space, we’re in a good space. Happy. She’s superb. She’s been great for me. We’ve been great for each other.”
Paul was questioned about the persistent reports about his alleged marriage to Adele when speaking with Gayle King. The singer herself fuelled the rumors when she referred to herself as a “wife” during one of her most recent performances.
Adele joked during the performance that she is “not the best wife” to the sports agent and explained that, given the sport’s rarity in her home UK, learning about American football has been a bit of a learning curve for her.
This statement came after Adele had earlier referred to Paul as her “husband” when interacting with spectators at one of her shows at her Las Vegas residency.

“You can’t marry me, I’m straight, my love. And my husband’s here tonight,” Adele told a concert-goer who’d asked to marry her.
However, Paul played coy when he was asked by King whether she should refer to Adele as “Mrs Paul” the next time she sees the “Easy on Me” singer.
“You can say whatever you want,” he said, before explaining he’s not the “type of person to put [his] personal life” out in the open. “It’s not for the media,” he added.
The couple’s engagement was the subject of rumors earlier this year when the celebrity gossip website Deux Moi claimed in a newsletter that “very reliable sources” claimed they were arranging a summer wedding. However, neither Paul nor Adele responded to these rumors at the time, and they have not commented on the continued rumors of a possible union.
Adele previously opened up about her connection with Paul. Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she has a 10-year-old son named Angelo. The gifted vocalist told Elle that she is currently going through a level of love she has never known.
