According to multiple sources, Rapper Nelly was taken into custody on Wednesday morning. Police found four ecstasy pills on him during the arrest.
The arrest happened at 4:45 a.m. in the Maryland Heights area. Nelly, 49, was also cited for not having insurance.
Online records show Nelly was booked at the Maryland Heights Police Department and was later released.
Nelly had an outstanding traffic summons on August 7, according to Maryland Heights Police.
