Prosecutors Share Text Messages Between Diddy And Cassie Following 2016 Hotel Incident

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ bond appeal hearing took a dramatic turn yesterday as Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily A. Johnson revealed desperate texts he sent to ex-girlfriend Cassie after allegedly assaulting her in a 2016 Los Angeles hotel incident.

“‘Call me the cops are here…I got six kids…Yo, please call I am surrounded…You gonna abandon me all alone,'” Johnson read aloud in court, citing texts Diddy sent immediately after the alleged assault, according to The Shade   Room.

The incident in question occurred at the InterContinental Hotel in L.A., where video footage showed Diddy beating Cassie in the hallway. This footage surfaced earlier this year.

“The defendant knew he had done something that could elicit a police response,” Johnson emphasized, highlighting Diddy’s alleged history of obstructing justice and tampering with witnesses.

Prosecutors argue that Diddy’s actions demonstrate a pattern of behavior, citing his 128 phone calls to former Bad Boy singer Kalenna Harper after her name was mentioned as a witness to abuse in a lawsuit filed by Dawn Richard, a former Diddy-Dirty Money group mate.

Diddy’s bond appeal comes after his arrest and indictment on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held without bail.

The court’s decision on Diddy’s bond appeal has been denied.
