Porsha Williams Files for Divorce from Simon Guobadia After 15 Months of Marriage
Less than a year after getting married, Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia are divorcing. Williams, who was a cast member of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” filed for divorce from Guobadia in Atlanta, citing an undisclosed reason for their breakup.
The divorce is unrelated to recent claims concerning Simon’s past, a source confirms, despite internet suspicions over Guobadia’s citizenship status. In November 2022, the pair, who were 42 and 59 years old, was married in Atlanta in an American wedding as well as a traditional Nigerian ceremony.
In May 2021, after only one month of dating, the pair announced their profound love and happiness with an engagement. After a two-year break, Porsha Williams—a reality star turned entrepreneur and mother to her 4-year-old daughter Pilar—announced recently that she will be returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for the upcoming season.

She also inked a contract with NBCUniversal to explore prospects for scripted projects on their streaming and broadcast platforms.

She originally joined RHOA in its fifth season and later appeared with Simon Guobadia on the spinoff “Porsha’s Family Matters” in 2021. Williams also participated in the third season of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” airing last year.
