Police search home in relation to killing of Tupac Shakur
The Las Vegas Metropolitan police have confirmed that they executed a search warrant this week regarding the unsolved murder of rapper Tupac Shakur. The search took place at a residence in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, where Shakur was tragically shot and killed in September 1996.
Due to the ongoing investigation into his murder, the police have refrained from disclosing further details about the search. Even though Shakur was only 25 years old at the time of his death, no arrests have been made, and there are currently no suspects in custody.
The location of the searched home is less than 20 miles (32km) away from the Las Vegas strip, where the drive-by shooting incident that claimed Tupac Shakur’s life occurred
“LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” a Las Vegas police statement said.
“We will have no further comment at this time.”
