"No woman ever deserves to be hit"- Britney Spears

Britney Spears has strongly criticized a radio station for suggesting that she “deserved to be hit” by a security guard during her recent encounter with Victor Wembanyama in Las Vegas.

Taking to Instagram on July 11, the renowned pop star uploaded a video expressing her views on the incident involving physical contact.

According to the singer, she had been “knocked down” by her fans previously; however, she asserted that her security team had never resorted to hitting anyone.

“I heard on the news this radio station talking smack that’s why I’m addressing it. Saying that I deserve to be smacked. Security was doing their job and protecting their client,”

Reflecting on her experiences, the renowned artist shared, “I’ve had the opportunity to be around some of the most globally recognized individuals, including *NSYNC at one point. Girls would literally throw themselves at them.”

In a candid disclosure, the singer revealed, “I was knocked down by like three 12-year-olds trying to get my picture. My security not one time touched them or even came near them.”

“Point being is I didn’t appreciate the people saying that I deserved to be hit. Because no woman ever deserves to be hit,”

Britney Spears clarifies her position.

Britney firmly clarified her position by stating that she merely “tapped” the basketball player on the back before she was struck.

Furthermore, the talented artist mentioned that she did receive an apology from the security guard at her table, but she now desires a public apology.

Interestingly, the singer has already limited comments from her followers on the photo-sharing app.

Meanwhile, during the investigation conducted by the Las Vegas Police Department, it was revealed that Britney was the one who accidentally struck herself in the face.

This occurred after the security guard intervened to protect the player by gently pushing Britney’s hand away.
