No Trophy For Cristiano Ronaldo As Al-Nassr Finishes 2nd
Enticed at the start of the year with a staggering annual salary of 2 billion euros, Cristiano Ronaldo has been unable to contribute to any championship victories this season after joining Al-Nassr.
The esteemed Portuguese superstar suffered elimination from the King’s Cup in the semi-finals at the hands of Al-Wehda, falling just short of reaching the final stage. Ultimately, Al-Ittihad emerged victorious over Al-Feiha, claiming the coveted title of Saudi Arabia’s new champion.
Nonetheless, Ronaldo, a five-time recipient of the prestigious Golden Ball award, has enjoyed personal success during his time at Al-Nassr. In 19 appearances for the club, he impressively scored 14 goals and provided two assists.

Before sealing his move to Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo was a top priority for Bayern Munich. However, the renowned star’s salary demands exceeded what the German champions were willing to offer. Interestingly, the Bavarians have found an ally in Marcus Schon, a German billionaire who is determined to witness the Portuguese striker donning the colors of Allianz Arena in the upcoming season.
According to reports from abendzeitung, the businessman purportedly reached out to Oliver Kahn, the club’s chief executive, via email, expressing his commitment to either paying a transfer fee for Ronaldo or covering his salary in the event of a loan deal.
