Nicki Minaj performed songs from her hit album Pink Friday 2 at E11EVEN Miami on New Year’s Eve, December 31. On CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live,” which was hosted by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, she revealed her resolution in a pre-recorded tape when Cohen requested her to.
“My New Year’s resolution is to keep my foot on these b**ches’ necks.” When the clip aired on CNN, Cooper hilariously responded, “Well, wow, who is she referring to?” before Cohen jokingly answered, “These b**ches.”
It was clear from the lighthearted conversation that CNN’s choice to provide booze on the New Year’s Eve broadcast made the hosts feel more at ease during the year-end party. After a break and conflicting reactions to Don Lemon’s prior attendance on the show, this was the first year that alcohol was once again served.
