New York Pediatrician dies after falling out of trailer while on trip to see solar eclipse

Dr. Monika Woroniecka,58,  tragically lost her life during a family trip to witness an eclipse. The incident occurred when she accidentally fell out of the passenger door of their Airstream trailer. The authorities in New York have reported this heart-wrenching event.

Dr. Woroniecka, a specialist in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at Stony Brook Medicine, had made a stop at a gas station to treat herself and her family to some ice cream on their way to their rented Airbnb in Cape Vincent. Little did they know that this trip, planned with excitement to observe the total eclipse, would turn into a devastating tragedy.

According to the New York State Police, Dr. Woroniecka and her daughter, Helena, chose to sit inside the trailer for the final part of their journey. In a turn of events, the passenger door unexpectedly opened, catching them off guard. Dr. Woroniecka desperately tried to hold onto the door handle, but the powerful wind proved too strong. She tragically fell out of the trailer, landing on the roadside shoulder and sustaining a severe head injury.

Immediate action was taken, but she later died from her injuries.
