Duane “Keefe D” Davis was charged with murder with a dangerous weapon and further enhanced with gang affiliation in connection with the passing of the iconic rap figure after this information was submitted to a grand jury last week.
The charge was announced on Friday after Davis was arrested close to his Henderson, Nevada home by Las Vegas police.
Following a fight with members of the South Side Compton Crips, which included Davis and Knight, Shakur and Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight were seen on the KLAS obtained video leaving the MGM Grand.
Tupac Shakur is seen on recently discovered video exiting the MGM Grand after a fight, right before he is fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in 1996. Due to the grand jury’s presentation of this evidence, Duane “Keefe D” Davis was charged with a crime.
Members of the South Side Compton Crips were involved in the confrontation, which was allegedly started by Mob Piru, a gang that is connected to Knight’s Blood.

Images obtained by the publication also show Knight’s shot-up BMW, which was carrying Tupac, stopped at a red light on Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, close to the Strip, when a white Cadillac drew up next to it.
Shakur was severely wounded by four bullets, including two to the chest, as the attacker opened fire on the vehicle in a matter of seconds, firing multiple shots into it before the Cadillac sped off. The precise spot where the rapper was seated during the incident is shown in one picture.
According to KLAS, Anderson and a third person, Deandre Smith, were pictured in the back of the car Davis was driving during the presentation on Friday by Las Vegas police. According to testimony from a member of the South Side Crips gang, Smith shot Shakur to death. It should be noted that Anderson and Smith both passed away later.
According to the TV station, the grand jury also saw four autopsy images of Shakur, one of which featured a close-up of a bullet wound. Notably, Cathy Scott, a reporter, was first exposed to one of the autopsy images in 1997.
Knight firmly stated that he “100%” will not testify against Davis in a jailhouse interview with TMZ on Monday. He voiced his opinion that Davis was unjustly prosecuted by authorities. The crucial witness voiced his surprise at the ex-gang member’s arrest, who repeatedly talked about his alleged knowledge of Shakur’s murder in numerous newspapers and interviews.
