Lil’ Wayne is the target of a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by Carlos Christian, who claims that the rapper assaulted and emotionally distressed him in 2021 and then showed off a semi-automatic rifle in his Hidden Hills home following a physical altercation.

Christian, a security guard, left the property after the incident and called the police right away.

The bodyguard claims that Lil’ Wayne threatened to shoot him, causing physical and emotional injury by waving a semiautomatic rifle and punching him in the head during an altercation, according to the lawsuit.

He claimed that Lil’ Wayne had acted in an outrageous manner by threatening, abusing, and beating him with a semiautomatic rifle. As a result, he suffered damages like mental and physical trauma, medical costs, lost income right away, and diminished earning potential.

According to Christian, the incident caused him to experience intense emotional distress, which prompted him to seek mental health treatment for PTSD. The bodyguard mentions in his lawsuit that Lil’ Wayne was previously arrested in 2008 on drug and firearm charges.

Lil’ Wayne is a convicted felon with a history of firearm offenses. Wayne afterwards entered a guilty plea to Florida gun charges pertaining to a loaded, gold-plated,.45 caliber handgun that had been improperly processed. Notably, President Trump commuted the rapper’s sentence and granted him a pardon.
