Kelvin Ferderline wants an increase in child support from Britney Spears
According to reports, Kevin Federline is thinking about taking Britney Spears to court in an effort to get more child support. The dancer, 45, is currently paid $40,000 per month, based on the belief that both parents share custody of their boys, Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16.
In actuality, the boys have lived alone with their father for a number of years. On September 14, 2023, the eldest son of the marriage, Sean Preston, will turn 18, which is the age at which financial support usually ends. Jayden’s support from Britney is expected to last until June 2025, when he completes high school.
The pop star’s current arrangement with Kevin, 41, was made after she filed for divorce, but before the conservatorship in 2008 that gave her father Jamie Spears, 71, control over her finances, health, and personal matters. Until it was formally ended in November 2021, this conservatorship was in place.

Along with his wife Victoria, 40, with whom he shares two additional daughters, Jordan Kay, 12, and Peyton Marie, 9, Kevin, who also shares two daughters with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson—Kori Madison, 21, and Kaleb Michael, 19—moved his entire family to Hawaii. Britney didn’t argue against this choice.
As Sean’s child support payments are about to come to an end, it has been said that Britney is feeling relieved.
