Dentists warn that Kanye West may face multiple severe bacterial infections and “harmful oral health problems” due to his $850,000 titanium teeth, which prevent him from properly chewing food. Leading experts caution that the rapper’s decision to get “fixed and permanent” silver-colored dentures was a mistake and predict he will regret his flashy smile.

New York-based cosmetic dentist Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein, in an exclusive interview, commented on Ye’s new teeth, warning that food could get stuck in the razor-sharp and “uncomfortable” mouth gear. He suggested that Ye should have opted for veneers instead.4

Dr. Rubinshtein explained that based on the photos, Kanye’s titanium dentures will hinder his ability to chew food properly and affect his bite, leading to damage to his TMJ joints and bacterial infections. He warned that Ye’s teeth would cause “even more harmful oral health problems” and stressed that he would never recommend such a procedure.

Dr. Rubinshtein also discouraged grills as an alternative, citing significant damage to teeth underneath and emphasizing the irreversible consequences of pulling teeth for trendy procedures. He highlighted the discomfort and challenges associated with dentures, including difficulty eating and food getting stuck underneath.

Last week, Kanye revealed his non-removable teeth, which are part of an experimental dentistry called “fixed prosthodontics” co-created by the rapper, according to a source. These dentures, known as “fixed and permanent,” are different from veneers or grills and represent a unique implant unlike anything done before.

The source revealed that Kanye collaborated with celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly to help create and fit the dentures, inspired by a James Bond character. Made of palladium and platinum materials, the dentures were partly Kanye’s idea and are reminiscent of the character Jaws from James Bond movies.

Alongside his shocking new look, Kanye’s daughter North West also debuted her new dental work, with both her and Kim Kardashian sharing a TikTok video showcasing North’s sparkling diamond grills.
