Jonathan Majors Secures Multiple Lead Roles

Jonathan Majors is making a comeback. His career slowed after a misdemeanor conviction in late 2024. On March 21, his film Magazine Dreams was released in 800 theaters. Despite personal controversies, critics and movie fans praised his performance. The film, directed by Elijah Bynum, tells the story of Killian Maddox, a bodybuilder struggling with mental illness. Majors delivers a powerful performance, exploring deep themes like human existence, failure, and adversity.

The film first premiered at Sundance on January 20, 2023. However, it was delayed for two years. This happened after Majors was arrested on March 25, 2023. A video showed his ex-girlfriend chasing him in Manhattan. Majors called the police the next morning. When officers arrived, they found his ex-girlfriend confused on the bathroom floor. Majors was arrested and later convicted of a misdemeanor assault charge.

His career was briefly affected, but he is now rebuilding. At a press event, Majors appeared with actor David Oyelowo. It was revealed that he had married actress Meagan Good. His mother, who is a pastor, officiated the wedding. Both Good and his mother supported him during his trial.

On March 21, Majors spoke to Sherri Shepherd. He shared that he survived sexual molestation at age eight. When asked how he felt comfortable sharing this, he said, “Growth.”

On March 26, it was announced that Majors will star in True Threat, directed by Gerard McMurray. He will play a Special Forces officer seeking justice for his son’s murder. He will also star in Merciless, a revenge thriller directed by Martin Villeneuve.
