Having recently graduated from drama school, Majors found himself feeling uneasy amidst the bustling atmosphere of the meeting, prompting him to make the decision to leave. However, just as he was about to exit the premises, casting director Sarah Finn intercepted him for a conversation.

Little did Majors know that this exchange would prove to be a turning point in his career, as he would be approached for the role of Kang three years later. Majors now stands unwavering in his commitment to the character, recognizing the cohesive vision laid out by Marvel.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige attributed the studio’s interest in Majors to his remarkable performance in “The Last Black Man in San Francisco.”

His portrayal of Kang in “Quantumania” has garnered immense acclaim, with Feige himself revealing to Entertainment Weekly, “In the early days of ‘Quantumania’ [test screenings], Jonathan started to make a significant impact… He has tested higher than any other villain we’ve had in any of our friends and family screenings.”
