Johnny Depp Marks Return To social media With A Special Message
On November 9, Johnny Depp made a happy return to Instagram following months of absence. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor grinned and clapped his hands in the picture taken outside in a field. Depp included a heartfelt note about the uncommon personal photo in the caption, providing context for the image.
“To my dear ‘Modi’ film family, Köszönöm for all your exceptional efforts without which this film could not have been made. Please accept my eternal admiration, appreciation, respect and love, JD. X. [Budapest, 2023],” he wrote in celebration, before giving the photographer credit for the snap: “Photo by Leo Pinter.”

Johnny Depp hasn’t been active on social media since his June Instagram post, most likely because he’s been concentrating on his personal life and future endeavors. His second feature film as a director, “Modì,” began filming in September in Budapest, Hungary, according to Variety.
Starring Al Pacino, Riccardo Scamarcio, Antonia Desplat, Stephen Graham, Bruno Gouery, and Luisa Ranieri, the movie is set in Paris during World War I. The narrative, which takes place over 48 tumultuous hours, depicts a pivotal moment in Modì’s life and cemented his status as a creative icon.
It’s unclear from the update whether filming for the project is over. Recently, Depp made a big screen comeback with Maïwenn’s “Jeanne Du Barry.”
