Jeezy files for divorce from Jeannie Mai
Rapper Jeezy, real name Jay Wayne Jenkins, has filed for divorce from television personality Jeannie Mai in an Atlanta courthouse, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Given that Mai and Jenkins had openly expressed their intense love for one another, which culminated in their marriage in March 2021, this development has surprised viewers.
Legal records show that Jeezy and Mai had already been living apart for a considerable amount of time prior to the formal divorce petition. The AJC further mentions that the couple had a prenuptial agreement in effect.
According to reports, Jeezy wants Monaco Mai-Jenkins, their one-year-old daughter, to have joint custody.

The couple was spotted having fun on vacation in Vietnam in May 2023, which was also their second wedding anniversary. Mae revealed that she spent a full year carefully planning this special vacation.
“I actually took a year and a half to plan this trip. Jeezy had no idea where we were going until we boarded the actual plane!”.
“Our trip was very specific in that I wanted to try our hand at everything the locals do, from cooking, fishing, to even farming. All I gave my husband was a list of what to pack, and the rest of the trip fell into place perfectly.”
