Jamie Foxx returns to ‘Back In Action’ set for the first time with Cameron Diaz after health scare
Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz were spotted on the set of their new film, “Back in Action,” in Atlanta, Georgia. This is their first appearance together since Foxx, 56, had a health issue in April 2023. Both celebrities appeared happy as they walked outside in casual wear.
With a white shirt and cream cardigan, Diaz, 51, donned dark gray cargo-style skinny pants, and Foxx, who starred in “Django Unchained,” wore navy slacks and a dark gray sweater. They each were on identical white sneakers. After Foxx was admitted to the hospital on April 11, 2023, it was unclear if he still had action-comedy scenes to shoot.

Various claims surfaced about Jamie Foxx’s condition and the state of his action-comedy filming after he was admitted to the hospital. Corinne, the daughter of Foxx, took to social media to address the matter, clarifying information and refuting misconceptions.
She claimed that her father had been discharged from the hospital weeks prior and was currently recovering. She conveyed appreciation for everyone’s kind wishes and encouragement.
On May 3, 2023, Foxx took to Instagram to declare that he was still recovering and to thank his fans for their support, amidst conflicting claims of his health and hospitalization.
In July 2023, Jamie Foxx took to Instagram to open up about his challenging experience, sharing, “I went through something I thought I would never, ever go through.” Despite the obstacles in his recovery, he expressed determination to return stronger and continue working.
Their return to the set also came after Cameron Diaz defended her co-star against rumors of a “meltdown” before his hospitalization. Speaking on Molly Sims’ “Lipstick on the Rim” podcast, Diaz praised Foxx, stating, “Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun.”
