With his abilities in acting, music, and comedy, Foxx has achieved great success in the world of entertainment. He even won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film “Ray.” Carl Weathers encouraged him to take on difficulties, and Foxx said that hearing of Weathers’ passing brought “real tears” to his eyes because ‘Creed’ had given him the inspiration to reach his present level of achievement.
Foxx posted an Instagram carousel with nine pictures of Weathers, reminding fans of the actor’s greatness. He wrote:
“Rest in power to a man that inspired me to do what I do… Every time I watched Rocky I always rooted for Apollo Creed… hearing of his passing, brought real tears to my eyes… God has just gained another angel #swipeleft look through these photos and see a man who curated an incredible career”. If Foxx is so deeply affected, imagine the impact on the person who closely worked with the actor on ‘Rocky’.
