Jamie Foxx Accuser Pleads with Judge to Keep Identity Secret in Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Due to worries for her safety, the woman who accused Jamie Foxx of sexual assault in a 2015 lawsuit is requesting that the court keep her identity private. According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Jane Doe, the plaintiff, emphasized the psychological impact of the case going public.

In the papers, Jane Doe mentioned, “I was sexually assaulted, as mentioned in the Complaint, leading to psychological and emotional harm.” She expressed hesitation about revealing her identity publicly because of the sensitive nature of the case and Jamie Foxx’s high-profile celebrity status.

The woman whose identity is still unknown became increasingly concerned for her safety after Foxx’s allegations were widely reported in the media and the case garnered significant attention. It was difficult for Jane Doe to come forward and share specifics about the alleged assault because she was afraid of the possible psychological damage from going public.

The person suing emphasized how the sexual assault affected her mental health, saying, “It caused depression, anxiety, sleep problems, distress, and I fear that going public will add to the emotional trauma.” She ended by stating her wish to avoid the stigma linked to being a victim of sexual assault.

In the legal case, Jane Doe accused Foxx of inappropriate touching at Catch rooftop in New York City in 2015, alleging that an allegedly intoxicated Foxx touched her inappropriately after a photo request. Foxx’s spokesperson strongly denied the claims, stating that the incident never occurred and dismissing the allegations as baseless and without merit.
