Jaden Smith Joins Forces with New Balance for Latest Sneaker Collaboration
The 0.01, a highly anticipated collaboration between New Balance and Jaden Smith, represents a significant development in their working relationship. Smith’s particular style is evident in this cutting-edge sneaker, which was inspired by New Balance’s vintage court designs.
The shoe’s sleek low-top style features an upper made entirely of premium white leather. The iconic “NB” emblem is boldly featured along the top, and a mesh tongue that matches the upper completes the design. The sneaker also features a split midsole, a throwback to Jaden’s earlier design, which had a midsole in the style of a platform.
In April, Smith made his 0.01 public debut at Coachella, sharing the stage with his sister Willow. At a pre-release event held at New Balance T-House, its flagship store in Japan, he also gave lucky visitors an exclusive first look at the sneaker. This occasion gave attendees an exclusive sneak preview of the dynamic cooperation to come.

The New Balance x MSFTSrep 0.01 is scheduled to make its debut on October 12, 2023, only on NewBalance.com, and it will cost $110 at suggested retail. For their third joint release, Jaden Smith, a New Balance ambassador since 2019, re-teams with the company.
Smith and New Balance worked together in 2020 to create vintage styles that drew inspiration from the company’s 1700 and X-Racer models. After that, they announced further colorway packs in 2021 and 2022. Notably, Smith’s distinctive touch on the popular 574 model in 2022 cemented their collaborative relationship.
