As mentioned, TMZ reports that Halle Bailey filed for court-ordered protection from DDG on Tuesday (May 13) in Los Angeles. Her most damning accusation cites a Janaury altercation between them. She said DDG came to her home to scoop their 1-year-old son, and while there, she attempted to start a conversation about visitation. The popular streamer allegedly reacted by repeatedly telling her “Get out of my car, b*tch.” Halle claims that Halo started crying, which worried her, and she got inside the car out of concern about DDG’s pissed off state. That led to them tussling and DDG allegedly pulling Halle Bailey’s hair. She also accused him of slamming her face into his vehicle’s steering wheel, causing her to chip her tooth.
Halle reportedly included photos of her injuries in her court filing, which show bruises on her arm and her damaged tooth. The tussle stopped after she started crying from pain. DDG then allegedly drove off with her in the car as she refused to get out, due to her continued concern for Halo. When they arrived at DDG’s home, she allegedly told some of his family members, who reassured her they’d look after Halo. A physical attack in front of Halo is just the tip of the iceberg in recent incidents with DDG, per the court filing. He allegedly sent her a photo of her bed in March while she was not home. His accompanying text reportedly said: “Now I know what u been on lol.” The restraining order request says Halle believed he was accusing her of having sexual relations with other people.
Four days after that, he allegedly smashed her Ring doorbell camera and got verbally abusive when Halle refused to let him take Halo. Additionally, DDG is accused of taking Halle Bailey’s phone and throwing it out of his car window while yelling “Go get it bitch.” The actress reportedly filed a police report after that and says she has the Ring doorbell footage to back her up.
