Grimes sues Elon Musk over their three children
Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed their first kid together in 2020, and then in 2021, a second daughter was delivered via surrogacy.
The couple, who split up in 2021 following a succession of on-again, off-again relationships, had a third kid, who was later given the name Techno Mechanicus (or “Tau”), according to Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon Musk.
Pitchfork reports that Grimes is currently suing Musk to establish a paternal tie. According to TMZ, this action was taken immediately after Grimes reportedly tweeted back in response to Isaacson’s book-related tweet, saying, among other things, “tell Elon to let me see my son or plz respond to my lawyer.”
According to TMZ, this suggests that Musk might be prohibiting Grimes from using Techno Mechanicus.

Although she has not yet formally requested either custody or child support, Grimes is likely hoping to eventually obtain custody rights by filing this petition in court.
