Ghana Registered Nurses And Midwives Association Helps Colleague with Ghc10,000

The Wa Branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has helped a colleague who suffered a terrible accident.

The Association gave Madam Anita Suglo, a midwife at the Wa Municipal Hospital, GHc10,000 to cover her medical expenses.

ANC in charge, the P.R.O of GRNMA-WA Municipal, the Labour ward in charge, the Treasurer of GRNMA-Wa Municipal, the chairman of the association, and the hospital administrator (Hon. Sampson), who also happens to be the former MP for Lawra municipality, came together to present the money to her.

The Association was established in 1960 and represents all types of nurses in Ghana. Any nurses and midwives in Ghana are welcome to join the group.

Membership is obtained and maintained, according to the association’s website, through registration and payment of monthly dues as well as other fees imposed by the GRNMA.

The beneficiary, Madam Anita Suglo, thanked the organization for helping her in her time of need and agony.
