Faizon Love Speaks Out on Diddy’s Arrest: “When Has Being Nasty Been a Federal Crime?”

Actor Faizon Love has shared his thoughts on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest on allegations of sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, and other crimes. In a video clip reposted by The Shade Room, Love expressed confusion over some of the charges.

“We all heard about Puffy and I see a lot of people… yeah yeah yeah… I’m confused,” Love said. “The Cassie [Ventura] thing, I understand. I think we should definitely lock this ni*_a up [for] putting his hands on a young lady, but I don’t understand the other sh_t. Can y’all help me?”

Love was referencing a disturbing video showing Combs violently assaulting Ventura in 2016. However, he questioned the indictment’s focus on Combs’ personal life.

“When has being nasty been a federal crime? And I’m glad they told me. I didn’t know there was a limit on baby oil,” Love remarked, referencing the reported seizure of over 1,000 bottles of personal lubricant and baby oil allegedly used for Combs’ “freak offs.”

Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has maintained his client’s innocence. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo stated. “To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts.”

Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is currently being held without bail.
