Dwyane Wade is eyeing a new venture – a nail line! In an interview with CBS, the basketball icon revealed he’s considering launching a nail care brand.
“I’m actually thinking about jumping into the nail line,” Wade shared. “I’ve been having some conversations on my own about exploring. I’ve got a couple ideas.”
Wade’s inspiration comes from bonding with his daughter Kaavia over nail design. “One of my favorite things to do is sitting down with my daughter and getting my nails painted and painting hers. That’s the time that we get to connect.”
If Wade launches the nail line, it’ll join his growing business empire, which includes Wade Cellars wine brand (launched in 2014), When We Gather wine and food experiences (launched in 2022), and Proudly baby body care brand (launched with Gabrielle Union in 2022).
“Proudly caters to the unique skin care needs of children of color, often overlooked in the mass market,” Union and Wade said in a joint statement. They also noted that their business ventures are thriving, saying “we’re growing and going strong” since launching Proudly in April.
