Sean “Diddy” Combs has intensified his fight for freedom by assembling a dream team of attorneys, including Anthony Ricco and Alexandra Shapiro, to tackle his highly publicized criminal case.
According to sources close to Diddy, Tony Ricco, renowned as “one of the finest trial lawyers in the country,” and Alexandra Shapiro, hailed as “one of the best appellate lawyers practicing today,” have joined his legal roster.
“Diddy is building his own dream team,” a source revealed to TMZ.
This development comes as Diddy’s lawyer files an appeal against the recent order denying him bond, marking his third attempt to secure release from behind bars as he awaits trial.
“Diddy is an innocent man with nothing to hide,” his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, previously stated.
Despite offering a $50 million bail package and restrictions on female visitors, U.S. District Judge Andrew Carter deemed Diddy a “danger” and denied bail.
Diddy faces charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution, with a plea of not guilty.
