‘Devastated’ Jeannie Mai Determined to Rebuild with Jeezy After Divorce Filing
According to reports, Jeannie Mai is experiencing strong emotions as a result of hearing that her estranged partner Jeezy has filed for divorce.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Jeezy, 45, has legally started the process to end their two-year marriage, saying in legal paperwork that the relationship has become “irretrievably broken” at this point.
According to a source who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, the rapper and the former co-host of “The Real” had very different views on certain family values and expectations.
According to reports, Mai, 44, who has been severely affected emotionally, is determined to preserve the integrity of her union with Jeezy.

“The truth is Jeannie wants her marriage to work, and wants her family to be one solid unit,” “She is devastated that Jeezy filed for divorce.”
“Even though Jeezy has filed, Jeannie is holding out hope that he would be willing to sit down and work things [out]. She is hoping for a resolution and wants to remain as a united family unit,”
“Jeannie deeply loves Jeezy, and she wants to work things out. She did not get married to get divorced. This was not a part of the plan. This is not how she ever imagined things would go down.”
The ex-couple welcomed the birth of their daughter, their only child, in January 2022. Jeezy has three older kids from other partnerships as well.
After formally ending her first divorce with actor Freddy Harteis in 2018, Mai is currently going through her second divorce.
