Just over two weeks after Keke Palmer was granted a restraining order against him, the father of Palmer’s 9-month-old son showed the infant some love and affection. Recently, Darius Jackson has come under fire for acting in what seems to be an abusive and domineering manner toward the beloved “Millennial Diva.”

Further charges of causing Palmer “physical and emotional” harm were made against Jackson following his misogynistic outburst in July. After she filed a restraining order on November 9, an L.A. judge issued an order a week later requiring Jackson to maintain a minimum of 100 yards between himself and the “Scream Queens” actress as well as their son, Leodis “Leo” Jackson.

After some time apart from Leo, Jackson seemed to reflect on their moments together in his recent Instagram post. On November 23, the fitness trainer shared a collection of six images and a video featuring Leo, himself, his uncle Sarunas J. Jackson (also accused of domestic violence), and other family members and friends.

The caption from the 30-year-old expressed gratitude for his son, saying, “Always thankful for you, my son. Happy Thanksgiving.”

The Jasmine Brand shared the content after Jackson posted it, but many commenters expressed disapproval for him not spending the holidays with his child. Some users even made hints as to how things might have turned out differently for him had he “kept your hands to yourself.”

Many new details regarding Jackson and his family have surfaced in the wake of revelations regarding his alleged abuse of Palmer. The singer’s mother, Sharon Palmer, outed Jackson, his brother, the “Insecure” star, and their mother only a week ago for allegedly putting up with his toxic behavior.

Speaking to Sarunas about his brother’s behavior, Sharon said he said, “Well, I used to be like that too.” Palmer was seen out for the first time since obtaining a restraining order, and she has not spoken about her current circumstances. It’s unclear who gave the “Joyful Noise” star the sentimental bouquet of between fifty and one hundred roses, but TMZ got pictures of her accepting it.
