Chris Brown hits back at Tinashe for disrespecting him.
Singer Tinashe recently made comments regretting their previous collaboration, and Chris Brown has responded. On a well-known YouTube podcast called The Zach Sang Show, Tinashe made these comments as a guest. Her experiences working with R. Kelly and Chris Brown were brought up by the host throughout the conversation.
On the song “Let’s Be Real Now,” Tinashe publicly acknowledged that she was embarrassed about her prior collaborations with R. Kelly. She continued by saying she had decided to put that memory behind her.
Regarding her 2015 song “Player” duet with Chris Brown, Tinashe also talked about her early reservations. She said that initially, she wasn’t quite certain the collaboration would be a good fit.

“That was a song that we all wanted it to be this big moment, this big single,” Kachingwe told Sang. “So I feel like, in their mind, they were like, ‘You need the support.’ [Brown] was their biggest artist that they had on rhythmic radio at the time. To me, I was like, ‘Well, this is a pop song. So, I really don’t feel like we should put Chris on it.’ That doesn’t compute to me, but I don’t know.”
Brown responded to the criticism on No Jumper’s Instagram account this past Saturday.
“Name five Tinashe songs or die… everybody dead.”
“She full of dat evil. Shawty career is non-existent. What’s more embarrassing is that she worked with all these people and not one of us could save her career.”
Chris has battled addiction, bipolar II disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder due to the domestic abuse his mother, Joyce Hawkins, suffered at the hands of his stepfather while he was a child.
