Celine Dion’s Sister Shares ” heartbreaking ” Update on the Singer’s Health

Celine Dion’s sister Claudette Dion has provided a heartbreaking update on her battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome, stating that she no longer has control over her muscles.

Claudette stated that Celine won’t be able to perform for some time because the illness results in excruciating muscle spasms. Celine’s objective is still to perform again on stage, even though she is unsure of the exact venue.

Because of its rarity, ongoing research on the neurological disorder is moving slowly, which many, including Claudette, find difficult to comprehend. She stated that people who are going through similar struggles have “lost hope” of finding a cure.

This update comes after Claudette’s statement to HELLO! Canada in September, where she mentioned Celine’s efforts to recover but emphasized the difficulty in controlling her spasms.

In a video message in December 2022, the singer revealed she has the disease, leading to the cancellation of several 2023 concert dates. After not being seen in public for 3½ years, Celine was recently spotted at a hockey game between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Montreal Canadiens, appearing in good spirits despite her health challenges.
