Diddy and Cassie, who accused him of rape and human trafficking in a lawsuit she filed only a day ago, are terminating their legal dispute “amicably.” The end of the legal dispute was announced in statements made public on Friday night.

Cassie thanked her family, fans, and attorneys for their support and expressed her decision to settle the case on terms that she could control.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Diddy stated, “We’ve decided to settle this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family the best. Love.” This surprising announcement follows the shocking allegations Cassie made against Diddy, with the dust still settling.

Cassie accused Diddy of raping her in 2018 and forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes while they were dating in a lawsuit that was filed on Thursday. These alleged F.O.s, also known as freak-offs, allegedly happened in hotel suites in Atlanta, Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills.

After confirming with law enforcement in those cities and the FBI, TMZ discovered that Diddy was not the subject of any active investigations, despite allegations that could be considered criminal.

Diddy’s attorney swiftly refuted every accusation, charging Cassie with bringing the lawsuit as a desperate attempt to obtain money. She allegedly threatened to write a tell-all book for months if Diddy didn’t give her the $30 million.

The terms of the settlement are unknown, and neither party mentioned any monetary exchange in either of their statements.
