Big Dib: Far Gone

Big Dib: Far Gone

Adams Abdul Kadir, better known by his stage name Big Dib, has quickly emerged as the leading musical figure in the Upper West and possibly beyond.

The young act, in my opinion, has a fantastic sense of promoting his works and stepping beyond of his comfort zone to get things done his way.

Big Dib has a knack of keeping his fans and onlookers curious about his plans for his music.

I can still picture me staying up all night waiting to hear his song “God Abeg.” Everyone was talking about the song before it was even released. Just waiting to hear what the song was about made me incredibly excited.

I was probably one of the first people to stream the song as soon as it was released. Did it live up to my expectations? , Was it worth the media attention and earlier promotions?

Absolutely, I really enjoy the song’s message. Anyone who has ever prayed to God to remove negative energy would be able to relate to what he was trying to say.

Following the release of God Abeg, Big Dib went on to release his debut EP, titled “Lost In My Dream EP.”

The track lineup for the EP includes God Abeg, Forever, We Bad, and Falling.

Before to the EP’s release, Big Dib once more carried out the proper promotion that everyone knows he excels at.

I observed him as he visited radio stations including Radio One, Pure FM, Luv FM, and Focus FM to promote his brand and EP.

Personally, I think this young man has something huge up his sleeve that will quickly turn him into a national assest.

If upper West musicians are serious about getting their music heard, I believe they can learn a lot from this  youngster.

Big DIb, in my opinion, is much ahead of several musicians in the region who merely claim to be establishing upper west music while ignoring their brands and embracing local stardom.

Big Dib, in my opinion, is doing what the major players in the market are refusing to do for their brands and the regions, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw Big Dib collaborating with the major players in the Ghanaian music business in the near future. That will soon pay off because the guy is working so hard and investing so much.
