Beyoncé Celebrates Birthday on Private Island with Friends and Family
Beyoncé recently took a little break from her critically praised “Renaissance” tour in order to celebrate her birthday in private.
The singer acquired an exclusive retreat known as Mermaid Bay, a group of 11 sumptuous villas tucked within The Brando, an opulent private island resort catering to the wealthy in French Polynesia, according to insiders with personal knowledge who spoke with TMZ.
On September 5th, Beyoncé, accompanied by her entourage, checked into the estate and extended their stay until at least Friday, the 8th. The group included both adults and children.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z took up residence in the primary dwelling of the Bay, a lavish 4-bedroom villa valued at approximately $20,000 per night. The remaining members of their party were accommodated in the ten other villas, which offered options ranging from one to three bedrooms.
