Actor Christian Oliver and His Two Kids Killed in Caribbean Plane Crash
A plane disaster near a Caribbean island claimed the lives of actor Christian Oliver, 51, and his two kids, Madita, 12, and Annik, 10. The event happened when the plane was taking off from Bequia’s J.F. Mitchell Airport for St. Lucia. Shortly after takeoff, the little aircraft experienced problems and crashed into the ocean, taking all three lives with it.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force reports that despite the desperate attempts of nearby fisherman and divers from Paget Farm to assist, all four of the passengers perished in the jet crash. The cause of the crash is being looked into by ongoing investigations; reports have highlighted the pilot’s radio communication indicating problems shortly after takeoff.
