The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner released Carter’s autopsy results, which revealed that the singer’s death was accidental. The report showed that Carter drowned in his bathtub after consuming a lethal combination of difluoroethane (the gas found in cans of compressed air) and alprazolam (the generic form of Xanax).
