An update has been provided on Jamie Foxx’s recent medical complication.
Jamie Foxx was hospitalised last week due to a medical complication, but according to a source who spoke to People Magazine, the actor’s health is now improving. Although he is still in the hospital and undergoing tests, he is said to be awake and alert, with doctors keeping a close eye on him.
“He’s still in the hospital and doctors are running tests but he’s awake and alert. They’re keeping him under observation,” the insider revealed to the outlet.
The Oscar winner, who was in Georgia filming Back in Action at the time, did not experience the complication while on set, nor did he require transportation to the hospital by emergency services.

Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Fox, first made his health condition public on April 12th, describing it as a “medical complication” but not disclosing further details about his condition or the cause of the emergency. She did, however, express gratitude for the quick action and care that led to his recovery.
The Netflix movie’s production was temporarily halted, with a stand-in and a photo double serving as Foxx’s replacement during filming.
