Bow Wow, a renowned rapper, has voiced his support for embattled music industry giant Diddy, lamenting the absence of his iconic parties due to ongoing legal issues.
In a recent interview on the “More To The Story” podcast, Bow Wow shared his thoughts on the industry’s “takedowns,” subtly referencing Diddy’s situation. Host Rocsi Diaz inquired about Bow Wow’s concerns, but he denied feeling nervous, instead expressing disappointment at Diddy’s predicament.
Bow Wow confessed he never envisioned Diddy, the Bad Boy Records CEO, facing such allegations. Despite years of circulating rumors, Bow Wow struggled to believe the severity of the situation.
The BET Awards and BET Hip Hop Awards felt incomplete without Diddy’s signature soirees, Bow Wow noted. “There was nowhere to go,” he said, highlighting the impact of Diddy’s absence.
However, host Rocsi Diaz interjected, distinguishing between Diddy’s regular parties and the alleged “Freak Offs,” where Diddy purportedly engaged in illicit activities with male escorts.
Undeterred, Bow Wow praised Diddy as “monumental” to the music world, reiterating his disappointment at the lack of celebrations during Diddy’s incarceration.
Diddy’s legal troubles began in September with federal charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and various serious offenses linked to his alleged “Freak Offs.” Despite entering a not guilty plea, he remains in custody following two denied bail requests. Additionally, numerous lawsuits alleging sexual assault, sex trafficking, and others are currently pending.
