Black Coυple From North Carolina Celebrate 82 Years of Marriage — He’s 103 and She’s 100!

D.W. and Willie Williams, aged 103 and 100 respectively, marked their 82nd wedding anniversary with joy.

Alice Erin and BJ Williams-Greene hosted a party at their church to celebrate the couple’s long and loving marriage.

The Williams, who have a child and a grandchild, met in 1935 in South Carolina and tied the knot in 1937.

Their enduring union is attributed to mutual respect, communication, and friendship. Williams-Greene told Good Morning America. “They have had such a long, successful marriage because they put God first and are each other’s best friends.”

They won a ‘longest married couple’ contest in 2014 and value watching westerns, solving crosswords, and prioritizing kindness in their relationship.

Despite facing historical challenges, they feel blessed by the support they’ve received.

Looking ahead, they humorously ponder how they would spend another century.
