On Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay,” Katt Williams didn’t hold back, taking shots at rivals like Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, and Rickey Smiley. He criticized Rickey Smiley for saying their roles in “Next Friday” were switched before filming, calling it a 2024 reckoning.

According to Katt Williams, he was always cast as “Money Mike” and even had to rewrite a scenario in “Friday After Next” to save Terry Crews’ character “Damon” from being attacked on television.

After a falling out, Katt put a condition in his contract that Rickey Smiley could only work with him on films if he wore a dress. In the 2008 movie “First Sunday,” Rickey portrayed a churchgoer named “Bernice Jenkins,” meeting Katt’s demands.

Cedric The Entertainer faced criticism from Katt Williams, who rejected Ced’s accusation of joke theft on “CSS.” Katt portrayed Ced as lacking talent, highlighting that despite having “Entertainer” in his name, Cedric couldn’t sing, dance, or write his own jokes. Katt went further to point out that Ced’s stand-up specials are unpopular, with no demand for them on platforms like Netflix or Tubi.

Despite the fact that Cedric’s “Live from the Ville” is available on Netflix, Katt Williams claims that Steve Harvey is the genuine joke-stealer. Katt accuses Steve of undercutting Mark Curry’s “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” sitcom by launching “The Steve Harvey Show” with a similar premise of comedians playing high school teachers. However, Mark’s show debuted four years before Steve’s.
