Darius denies abuse, claims Keke Palmer’s mom threatened to shoot him
Keke Palmer’s mother Sharon allegedly threatened to “put a bullet in his head” during a phone argument, according to TMZ. Darius Jackson disputes these claims of abuse and says he was intimidated by her mother.
Recently, a restraining order against Jackson and sole custody of their eight-month-old son, Leodis, were granted to Keke.
Keke Palmer claimed in court documents that she experienced physical and emotional abuse from Darius, with whom she shares their son, Leodis. TMZ reported that an argument over custody on November 5 escalated after Darius went to pick up Leo and found him not at Keke’s home.
The dispute involved Keke, Darius, and eventually Sharon (Keke’s mother), who allegedly threatened Darius over the phone. A struggle ensued, captured in images submitted for Keke’s restraining order, which also included photos from a separate altercation in February 2022. Keke was granted a restraining order and sole custody of their son.

Darius vehemently disputes any abuse of the actress, according to insiders, and there was no report filed after police were called to the residence and found no reason to make an arrest for domestic violence.
This is in line with what Darius has said. After hearing about the purported threat, Darius’ mother texted Sharon infuriatedly.
‘Hello Sharon. How are you? I have tried not to get involve in my son’s personal business, but I heard that you are going to put a Bullet in my sons head??? Well, then now we have to involve the authorities, because you don’t respect or value yourself and I can see no my son’s life. You might have to kill all of us. I will file a police report on you now.’
Sharon allegedly responded: ‘Please do not contact me with this ridiculous childish behavior your son choked his own sister, deal with his anger issues, if he attacks my daughter in her own where she pays the bills he is trespassing and anything can happen so he should stay away. You should be very ashamed to have raised a man who fights women.’
The former couple is set to appear in court again for a hearing on December 5.
