Soccer player Neymar’s family had a terrifying experience early on Tuesday morning when three men broke into his partner Bruna Biancardi’s Sao Paulo apartment, presumably with the intention of harming her and their newborn child.

According to local reports, Neymar and Bruna, who started dating in 2021, weren’t home at the time. But when the trespassers allegedly broke into the house, her parents were there.

Bruna’s parents were reportedly tied up by two armed men and another suspect after they searched the influencer’s home and stole expensive goods like jewelry, watches, and designer handbags.

The R7 newspaper claims that the suspects were specifically searching for Mavie, the infant daughter of Neymar and Bruna, who was born in the first week of October. In fact, on Monday the Al Hilal striker shared a photo of himself and his kid. Thankfully, no one was injured, and neighbors quickly reported the break-in to security.

A 20-year-old suspect was taken into custody during the incident. It is believed that he is Bruna’s neighbor and that the other suspects were able to enter the neighborhood with his help.

Although one suspect has been identified, the other two remain at large. In response to the “attack on Bru’s parents,” Neymar, who underwent surgery last month to repair his injured left knee, released a brief statement expressing his gratitude that no one was hurt.
