‘Drunk’ Jason Momoa ‘wanted Amber Heard fired from Aquaman 2 and dressed as Johnny Depp’
Amber Heard apparently found the environment stressful on the Aquaman 2 set when her co-star Jason Momoa allegedly arrived drunk and dressed as Johnny Depp.
Heard’s return to the DC brand was in question following a widely publicized defamation dispute with her ex-husband, with significant professional implications for both parties.
In the lawsuit, Heard, now 37, talked about experiencing domestic abuse without specifically mentioning Depp, who was 60 at the time, in a Washington Post op-ed from 2018.
The amazing Danish Girl actress was confirmed to reprise her role as Mera in Aquaman 2, which is officially titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Despite early expectations that the rumors would stop, freshly discovered documents that were originally obtained by Johnny Depp’s legal team give an unsettling impression of the dynamics on the set.
According to therapist notes belonging to Amber Heard, despite her own physical difficulties using crutches, co-star Jason Momoa pushed for her removal from the movie. These records were made public following the divisive trial, in which the Pirates of the Caribbean actor ultimately prevailed, and after Depp’s supporters paid the court costs for the evidence’s disclosure.
According to the notes, Jason is quoted as saying, “Jason said he wanted me fired,” and they also make reference to his inebriation and imitation of Johnny’s fashion, including the use of accessories.

Heard’s private therapy records were initially requested by Depp’s legal counsel during the discovery process, but the actress’s legal team strenuously objected to their release, according to people close to the actress.
An official from DC refuted the accusations, stating that Jason Momoa continuously behaved professionally throughout the making of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
Both sides admitted to variety that Heard was on the verge of being fired from the franchise following the release of the first movie in 2018 because of alleged chemistry problems with Momoa.
Her legal team received an official notification about this potential action, even involving the studio and filmmaker James Wan. DC claims that this choice had nothing to do with the Depp case, though.
Elon Musk, Heard’s then-partner, stepped in to protect his girlfriend at that point.
