Beyonce in final talks to release ‘Renaissance’ concert film.
According to people familiar with the project, a forthcoming movie based on Beyoncé’s wildly popular Renaissance World Tour is now in advanced talks for a direct distribution deal with AMC Theatres.
Just two weeks ago, the formidable agency CAA began preliminary discussions with significant studios and streaming services, highlighting the necessity for potential stakeholders to get ready for a competitive bidding process.
Beyoncé has been painstakingly creating this project over the years, and it will include elements from her highly lucrative 2023 live performances, clips from the eagerly anticipated visual album “Renaissance,” and a documentary-style narrative tracing the development of the record and the tour (featuring anticipated appearances by Blue Ivy Carter).
The movie is aiming for a broad release on December 1, according to insiders. By the time the tour is done, analysts predict that ticket sales will have reached a staggering $560 million.

Beyoncé is already leaving her own imprint on the industry in the aftermath of Taylor Swift’s recent lucrative deal. The terms of Swift’s deal, which centered upon a straightforward concert movie covering her hugely successful Eras Tour, are said to be quite favorable to her.
She contributed personally to the film and will receive more than half of the gross box office receipts. According to a source, Beyoncé is expected to receive a comparable contract, which may net her more than 50% of the worldwide ticket sales. With hopes that it may bring in more than $100 million in revenue by October, the industry is eagerly watching Swift’s partnership with AMC.
