Renowned Actor and Rapper Nashawn Breedlove Passes Away at 46
Nashawn Breedlove, a rapper and actor who appeared alongside Eminem in the critically acclaimed movie “8 Mile” back in 2002, has died at the age of 46, according to a statement on social media made by his mother on Tuesday.
Breedlove calmly passed away in his sleep on Sunday at his home in New Jersey, according to a family source who talked to TMZ. His death’s precise cause is still a mystery.
Nashawn’s mother, Patricia Breedlove, wrote on Facebook in an emotional message, “Nashawn was a rapper, singer, composer, and actor. There was no denying his brilliance.
“Nashawn’s departure from this world has left an immense void in my life, one that words cannot fully express.”
“I can’t put into words the pain and hurt that I feel. He was not just my son; he was a remarkable man whose character and strength inspired all who crossed his path,”

Breedlove became well-known after playing the rapper Lotto in the movie, which was partially based on the life of the well-known “The Real Slim Shady” artist. Breedlove died quietly in his sleep on Sunday at his home in New Jersey, according to a close relative.
He engages in a furious rap war with Eminem’s character B-Rabbit in one of the movie’s key scenes.
Rapper Mickey Factz posted a touching homage to Breedlove in the wake of this tragic news along with a clip of Breedlove demonstrating his rhyming prowess in “8 Mile” on social media.
Breedlove was formerly known by his stage moniker, OX, and even provided music for the soundtrack of the 2001 movie “The Wash,” which featured well-known members of the West Coast hip-hop community including Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
