During his inaugural interview since the announcement of his world tour cancellation, Lewis Capaldi playfully conveyed a brief message to his fellow superstar Ed Sheeran: “Consider yourself roasted!”
However, the joviality was apparent as Capaldi made a guest appearance on the immensely popular YouTube series Hot Ones (viewer discretion advised due to language), renowned for its spicy chicken wing challenges. Sheeran had previously participated in an earlier episode of the show.
“Songwriting for me, people say it’s like catharsis and all the rest, it’s a really beautiful thing but catharsis isn’t always comfortable or enjoyable,”
“I spend most of my time hating myself when I write songs and yeah I think that’s fate, that’s my process.

“If you’re feeling like your girlfriend doesn’t love you and she’s going to leave you, she probably will. Life is meaningless.””Shout out to Tony’s. Actually f… them. I’ve shouted those bastards out … I live on the same street as them when I was growing up, and never once did I get a free pie slung my way. So f… that. If you’re listening Berto, where the f… were my free slices?”
Lewis Capaldi stops touring.
In a recent development, Lewis Capaldi made the decision to temporarily step away from touring, resulting in the unfortunate cancellation of his highly anticipated shows in New Zealand. The Grammy-nominated artist cited his ongoing journey of adapting to the impact of his Tourette’s syndrome as the reason behind this decision.
This choice followed a challenging performance at the renowned Glastonbury Festival in the UK, where despite Capaldi’s struggles on stage, his devoted fans rallied around him and sang with unwavering support.
The artist had originally been scheduled to perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena on July 18 and Wellington’s TSB Arena on July 19, but those performances will no longer take place.
Adding to Capaldi’s recent ventures, a compelling Netflix documentary titled “How I’m Feeling Now” has recently been released on the popular streaming platform, offering audiences an intimate glimpse into his life and experiences.
