Cheryl McCain, a 63-year-old grandmother of 18, has found herself in the social media limelight after announcing her pregnancy with her 26-year-old husband, Quran McCain.
Cheryl and Quran have faced a lot of criticism online for their age gap. The pair first met when Quran was only 15 years old, while they both worked at a Dairy Queen. However, their relationship began years later when they reconnected randomly at a gas station. It all started in April 2021 when Quran, who was 23 at the time, confessed his feelings after spending weeks together with Cheryl. They got married in September and then created joint social media accounts to share their lives together.
However, Cheryl’s children do not support her relationship with Quran. According to her, only one of her seven kids supports the union.
She said, “I have seven kids, but I only see one of them, as the others do not support our relationship. It hurts me, it hurts me a lot.
They were my whole life, and all of a sudden, I wanted to be married to someone I had fallen in love with, and they didn’t support that. I have 18 grandchildren, and I only see three of them.”
Cheryl and Quran are excited to start their own family, emphasizing their unconditional love for their child. While many have congratulated them, others continue to criticize their 37-year age difference. The impact of the baby’s arrival on Cheryl’s relationship with her children remains uncertain.
